PARLIAMENT: THE RETURN OF JUNE 2016 IS THURSDAY.
The upper and lower houses were convened Thursday, June 2, 2016 as part of the second regular session of the Legislative 2016.
Two orders signed Friday, May 27, 2016 the chairmen of Senate offices, marcel niat njifenji and the National Assembly, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril convene, members of both chambers to allow them to be in the context of work as required by the Constitution.
The reunion between deputies and senators will focus on: the review of bills submitted by the government, the review of bills submitted by members of both chambers, the initiative of the laws belonging to the executive and the legislative, control of government action, the consideration of other topics related to the lives of Cameroonians and the evolution of the country.
In addition, according to a statement signed by the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, Cameroonian parliament must ratify the Paris Agreement on the climate which was signed on April 22 at the UN headquarters in New York by over 175 parts including Cameroon.
